1512 - ENTREPRENEURSHIP SUPPORT PROGRAM (BiGG)

   1512 – Entrepreneurship Support Program supports entrepreneurs' activities from the idea stage to the market so that they can transform their technology and innovation-oriented business ideas into enterprises with high employment creation potential. The BiGG Program aims to encourage entrepreneurship and to create start-up companies that are internationally competitive, innovative and capable of developing high-tech products and services. For this purpose, our company was established in October 2020 on the basis of our project targeting the removal of bad odors in environmental systems.

   Bad odors occur in many domestic and industrial systems and natural systems and create problems both recreationally and aesthetically (toxicity, affecting living life, etc.) where they occur. Waste water treatment plants are the leading sources of odor in environmental systems. Composting facilities can also be a source of bad odor due to insufficient ventilation. Odors formed in recreational waters and treatment pools / lagoons are produced in the lower layers. This shows that the source of bad odor is not only superficial. Therefore, the ability of non-microbial deodorizers to remove such odors is negligible.

   As a result; If products of microbial origin are preferred in the fight against bad odors, a highly effective and environmentally friendly method is chosen, since the components that make up the odor can destroy the source. When all these problems and the past experiences of the project team are combined, the business idea will be realized and microbial products in liquid and solid form will be produced that will enable the biological removal of bad odors in environmental systems.

   Biotechnologically the products we produce can be used both in purification, in agriculture and in industry, by simulating the natural environment of microorganisms whose task is to destroy waste and pollution, and by increasing their numbers. It is a bioremediation (Bioaugmentation) method created on destruction. This bioremediation technology  has been used in the world for 50 years.

Within the scope of the project, 1 microbiologist, 3 expert academicians and 1 agricultural engineer worked. This project contributes to the economic development of our country by both supporting young women entrepreneurs and commercializing the knowledge produced by academicians.

TÜBİTAK 1707 BİGG Partner Order R&D 2021/ EFFICIENT BEE PROBIOTICS PROJECT

    With this call, SME businesses can meet customer requirements by SME businesses that can turn into  Arcdec78195d_product with commercialization potential and have commercialization potential -D projects are supported. R&D studies are carried out by the Supplier Organization. The project output product is commercialized by placing it on the market by the Customer Organization and/or Supplier Organization. The Customer Organization provides financial support to the Supplier Organization's R&D costs. 

    The Active Bee Probiotic Project, carried out with Muğla Petek, aims to develop a domestic product that provides a solution to bee diseases seen in honey bees in many countries, including our country. You can find detailed information about the product in the "OUR PRODUCTS" tab on our website.

Order with TÜBİTAK 1707 BİGG Partnership R&D 2022/MACROBIAL PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT CONTAINING BIOCONTROL AGENT AND PLANT DEVELOPMENT REGULATOR AGAINST SOME FUNGUES

   Agriculture is one of the most important sectors for our country and alternative approaches are needed because current agricultural practices are unsustainable. It is extremely important that agricultural control activities are carried out in accordance with sustainable agricultural production techniques in a way that will reduce the side effects on human and environmental health and biological balance. Corn is one of the important cereals of the world and Turkey, which is the 6th production. Root and crown rot is one of the most important diseases in maize. As a result of the wrong and widespread use of chemical plant protection products used in the control of diseases and pests, resistance in harmful organisms and residue problem in plant products occur. Therefore, in order for domestic seed production to develop in our country, to compete with foreign producers and to apply sustainable agriculture principles, it does not contain chemicals, but contains biological fungicides. At the same time, there is a need for a product that supports plant growth.  From this point of view, the basis of our project is to produce a microbial product that will be applied to corn seeds, reduce the use of antibiotics in the seed, and also support plant growth. If our project is successful, a product that is both antibiotic-free and environmentally friendly, suitable for sustainability and high added value will be produced.
